Serenity in Bishop, California

I didn't know much about Bishop, California when our photography group took a road trip out there. I never even heard of that city or the county it's in - "Inyo County." It's a place for camping, sightseeing, and rock climbing. And more importantly for me, it's a place for beautiful photographs that capture the serenity and beauty of these majestic mountains, creeks, rivers, and trees.

Tony and Christine - Engagement Photos

I took some engagement photos of my daughter and her fiance at Monarch Beach. The sunlight was just right and the rock formations here provide a very stunning backdrop for the beautiful couple. This beach has a lot of breathtaking views - perfect for that special engagement photograph.

A Natural Wonder at Antelope Canyon

One of my first photography trips outside of CA was to Antelope Canyon, Arizona several years ago. The stunning geological formation of the canyon is just breathtaking and surreal. We had a tour guide who informed us that the rainwaters run through the canyon, which wears away the sandstone, but forms the beautiful and graceful curves in the rocks. The wind also sculpts the rocks too. Great photo opportunities here with the sunlight peeking through and hitting the curves of the canyons.

Peter & Cindy (Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel)

We went to the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Laguna Niguel for Peter and Cindy's engagement photo session. They particularly liked photographing near the windows for the dramatic silhouette effect. I had no problem telling this beautiful couple how to pose. They were naturals.
